LONDON SYMPHONIA - SERENATA MUSIC OPENING CONCERT A MUSICAL DELIGHT.

A full house was thrilled by the interpretation of the Ravel piano concerto in G major by David Jalbert at the London Symphonia concert on October 4. Mr. Jalbert demonstrated again his versatility in interpreting a diverse musical repertoire. Conductor Cosette Justo Valdec made her debut with the orchestra an opportunity to introduce pieces by Augusta Holmes and Rodrico Prats both of which delighted the audience. She competed the program with a tasteful interpretation of the Mozart Symphony no. 39. The audience and orchestra enjoyed her enthusiastic performance.
We are pleased to have subsequently heard many positive comments about the concert.
In November The Musicians from Marlboro will return for the fourth time to perform at Western's von Kuster hall.
London's own Lara St. John will join London Symphonia in January with conductor Nicolas Ellis in a concert titled The Ancient Flame. She will perform Dorman's Violin concerto No.2, Nigunim.
Our final presentation will be The Brahms Effect. Clarinetist Graham Lord and the London Symphonia String Quartet, Joe Lanza, violin, Emile Pare, violin, Kelvin Enns, viola, and Ben Bolt-Martin will perform the Brahms Clarinet Quintet and other pieces. Tom Allen will provide the commentary.
We look forward to seeing you during this exciting season.

Ensemble made in Canada, November 10, 2018
The Mosäique Project
The ENSEMBLE MADE IN CANADA delighted the audience with London première of The Mosaique Project, a wonderful, diverse Canadian work. The 14 piano quartets by Canadian composers truly depicted the Canadian landscape. Elissa Lee, violin, Sharon Wei,viola, Cameron Crozman, cello, and Angela Park, piano immersed themselves into the music and carried the audience along with them on a delightful journey. It was a joy to hear an original Canadian work played so beautifully. The quartet completed the evening with the Piano Quartet in E flat major, Opus 47 by Robert Schumann demonstrating their command of the standard repertoire.
