ENSEMBLE MADE IN CANADA WINS THE JUNO AWARD FOR CLASSICAL ALBUM OF THE YEAR: SOLO OR CHAMBER.
Congratulations to Londoner's Angela Park and Sharon Wei, and their fellow artists Elissa Lee and Trey Lee for their win at the June 2021 Juno awards for their recording of "Mosaique". Serenata Music had the pleasure of featuring the Ensemble playing this work in November 2018. The work is composed of pieces by Canadian composers from various parts of Canada which included visuals of the places the music described. We have extended felicitations to the group on behalf of the Serenata Music family.
Serenata Music is proud of the fact that we feature Canadian musicians who are being acknowledged here and abroad.
As soon as the pandemic subsides we hope to announce plans for the 2022 Serenata music season.

INCREASE PACE OF VACCINATION BRINGS HOPE FOR THE ARTS
As more of us are getting the second dose of the Covid vaccine there is hope for the opening of venues where we can gather to hear live music. The only question is whether our audience will be comfortable in coming to an indoor concert.
The London Symphonia is currently planning to have a 2021-2022 season with both seating and online streaming. Other local presenters have not made any announcements as yet.
Our colleagues at the Orillia Concert Association are holding a concert in October and November and will have a complete schedule for 2022.
The other members of the Ontario Classical Music Association are delaying their schedules until 2022. Serenata Music will not announce any programs until the venues are available likely in 2022.
Many musical organizations will continue to practice on Zoom and may have outdoor rehearsals as the weather improves. Perhaps this will lead to some outdoor concerts this summer.
We are interested in hearing about any concerts that are planned in London.
